How It Works
Four steps, run the same way every time: inventory what you run, benchmark it against the market, execute whatever you decide, and keep your renewals on a calendar so nothing renews itself unseen.
The Process
It starts with a 15-minute call. Not a pitch — an inventory. We ask what your business runs on: internet connections by site, phone systems, mobile lines, security tools, cloud subscriptions, and anything else with a monthly invoice attached.
From there, a recent bill for each service and your renewal dates are all we need. If contracts are on file, they help; if they aren't, the bills tell us most of what matters. We're building one clear picture of what you have, what it costs, and when each contract comes up.
With the inventory in hand, we benchmark each service against what the market offers today. We source quotes across available supplier channels — multiple suppliers, not one carrier's catalogue — for the addresses and services you actually have.
Renewals get particular attention: where you are in each contract, what notice the auto-renewal clause requires, and whether the renewal price reflects current market pricing or just last cycle's plus an increase.
The honest outcome is part of the process: if your current contract is the right deal, the recommendation is to stay on it. 'Stay put' is a real result of a SwitchU review, and we'd rather tell you you're in good shape than engineer a switch that doesn't help you.
The decision is yours — per service, not all-or-nothing. You might switch two connections, renegotiate one, and leave the rest alone.
Whatever you decide, the execution runs through your SwitchU desk: we place the orders, schedule the installs, manage number porting where phones are involved, and coordinate cut-over timing so the old service stays up until the new one is live. When something stalls — an install date slips, a port gets rejected — the escalation is ours to chase, not yours.
The review doesn't end at install. Every contract we know about goes onto a renewal calendar with its term, notice period, and auto-renewal terms tracked.
Ahead of each renewal window we schedule a review — enough lead time to benchmark the market again and act on it, instead of finding out a contract renewed itself for another three years. No surprise auto-renewals is the standing goal; the calendar is how it happens.
How We’re Paid
When you order a service through us, the supplier pays us a commission — the same budget they would otherwise spend on their own direct sales teams. You don't pay more by using SwitchU: your pricing comes from the supplier, and there is no client-side fee or markup added on top.
Because we source across multiple suppliers rather than representing one carrier, our advice isn't tied to any single catalogue. And because a ‘stay put’ recommendation pays us nothing, you can weigh it accordingly — it's the clearest signal we can give that the review works for you, not for a quota.
Modern Tooling
We run AI-assisted procurement workflows behind the desk — research, quote comparison, and renewal tracking move faster with modern tooling than with spreadsheets alone. What doesn't change is ownership: a named SwitchU advisor owns every file, reviews every recommendation, and is the person you call when something needs to move.
